Thoughts: Earth, Water, Fire and Air.
Earth - We can share some info about earth and the fact that it's alive, and climate change is destroying it. Bring bearded dragon and explain how his habitat is changing due to the climate change and why even these hardy guys are going extinct.
Water - We can share our river testing project results and explain what is happening to the Fraser, with the dredging of sands and the dumping of toxic waste from factories, etc.
Fire and Air - we can talk about how every year the fire season is harsher and harsher, and how the trees don't get enough water to last the Summer anymore.
End with action steps students can take.
Workshop: Create a miniature terrarium. Steps to take.
Bring materials for 60 students just in case.
