A Society for the Future

Bloomberg Project

The City of New Westminster was approached by the Bloomberg foundation with a proposal: they would give young people grants to create projects in the city which would enhance or help bring a positive message about the environment and the future. So of course we applied!

We had a wonderful time creating a climate change escape room, complete with an instructional booklet, as well as started work on two portable murals.

We also purchased and donated 6 sets (8 kits per set) of smart farming coding for classrooms, so teachers from the three middle schools in the city can experiment and learn more about smart farming!

Finally, we were given a wall to work with, which faces a lot of traffic. We need to develop a positive Hope Mural!

LET'S GO!
